Chain Reaction Bicycle Service Grand Opening

Chain Reaction is a full-service bike shop in Longmont that also offers a variety of programs especially aimed at supporting underserved youth of Boulder County. Planned programs include Earn-a-Bike, providing students with after-school opportunities to learn basic bike maintenance and repair while earning their own bicycles; Learn to Ride, offering courses to all ages under the guidance of supportive coaches; Bike Safety 101, reinforcing rules of the road and hand signals; high school internships; youth bike clubs; various maintenance classes; and community rides and special events.

Through weekly rides, we keep members engaged and enthusiastic all season long. Colorado is one of the greatest locations in the USA to cycle and we are fortunate enough to have all this in our own back yard.

Are you comfortable on your road bike but looking to fine tune your riding skills? Join eNRG Performance Coach Kim fine tune your riding skills on the road bike. In this two hour clinic, we will discuss equipment, bike safety, road rules, mounting/dismounting, starting/stopping, gearing and general bike handling and apply skills while taking on varied terrain throughout the park. Anticipate 10-15 miles of riding.

Are you new to road biking or haven’t dusted the cobwebs off of your road bike in a while? Join eNRG performance Coach Kim to learn or reinforce basic skills on the road bike. In this two hour clinic, we will discuss equipment, bike safety, road rules, mounting/dismounting, starting/stopping, gearing and general bike handling. Skills will be reinforced through drills and road riding.

Free Electric Bike Expo at the Colorado Mills Mall

This weekend Colorado will become even more bike friendly with the arrival of the Electric Bike Expo June 17-19 at the Colorado Mills Mall 986 Colorado Mills Pkwy, Lakewood, CO 80401. Participants will be able to test ride dozens of the top of the line electric bikes (eBikes) all for free on a special test track, including the event’s charity sponsor Tempo Bicycles. To make this weekend an even sweeter ride Tempo is raffling off one of their Carmel or Santa Barbara models (valued at $4,000) to one very lucky winner. Proceeds will support Bicycle Colorado ...
